Tess Howard, DVM
Small Animal Medicine & Surgery
Dr. Tess Howard grew up outside of Houston, Texas. Her passion for animals began at a young age, growing up horseback riding and volunteering at the local animal shelter. Tess went to Texas A&M University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science. During college, Tess worked as a technician at a small animal practice in College Station, Texas. After falling in love with Colorado, Tess eagerly moved up to Glenwood Springs to join GVC alongside her husband, Dr. Kramer Gopffarth.
Tess earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University and completed her clinical studies at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.
In her free time, Tess enjoys being outdoors, hiking, skiing, and enjoying the beautiful state of Colorado.
