Dr Rocky Mease

Rocky Mease
Small Animal Medicine and Surgery
Dr. Rocky Mease is a western Colorado native who truly enjoys helping people to live happier lives by keeping their furry, four-legged friends happy and healthy. Dr. Mease made the choice later in life to change careers from a heavy equipment mechanic welder and become a veterinarian. This choice has allowed him to live and work in a small community where he can get to know his clients and their four-legged family members personally. It is this connection that allows Dr. Mease to focus on individualized care for his patients.

Rocky completed his pre-veterinary education at Mesa State College in 1997 and his DVM from Colorado State University in 2001. Dr. Mease has limited his practice to small animal medicine and surgery. He joined Glenwood Veterinary Clinic in 2002 and has been a partner since 2006.

Dr. Mease and his wife, Terri, have been married since 1983 and both enjoy their small herd of registered Dexter cattle as well as their 4 dogs: Pickle, Klunk, Tilly, and Floyd; 4 horses; and more cats than you can count. When not at the clinic, he enjoys his Jeep Commando, rock crawlers, his little farm, and hunting big game. Please feel free to give him a call if you have a question about your fluffy friend or just want to chat about little cows, off road vehicles, or other fun things in western Colorado.
